My aunt called me earlier this morning to bring their daughter, my cousins, to her first bass guitar lessons and she is just nine years old who also happens to be just musically gifted that if I have to elaborate on that, even by just telling you that the base would be the fifth musical instrument that she will be playing as she already plays the piano magnificently, the guitar, the violin, the drums and the accordion, and again I would like to stress that she is still nine years old; she started playing the piano at the age of four and from then onwards she has been having deep interests in playing other musical instruments and even her parents brought her to a psychologist to see if their daughter was normal, and as it turns out, she is a musical genius. I certainly do not want to sound like I am bragging, but all the members of my immediate family play at least two kinds of musical instrument, like me, I play the piano and the guitar, and my brother plays the piano and the violin, my mom and dad play the guitar and the piano as well; as you see, we are all musically inclined, and I think the right term, modesty aside, would be musically gifted, and I think with all that musically inherent gene among our family members, the crem de la crem of all those genetic codes was expressed finally in my youngest cousin, who happens to not only play magnificently, but that she is also able to sing beautifully. There are just things destined to happen in order to move us, there are just people among us that are made of genius and it is amazing when you witness them perform the things they are good at because it would make you think that everyone is born to do something, and also born to be something; so as for my youngest cousin, she was born to move us all with her talent and her genius.
