The court would issue a restraining order which is their official command to restrain certain activity and in different instances, this is often sought by plaintiffs to prevent the defendant from doing something. I noticed that this usually happens every time there are employment disputes or copyright infringement, harassment and domestic abuse and this kind of order from the court needs to be requested and the court will then decide the merits of the request. On the consequences of the requested order, there are tests that the court needs to consider if the other party would suffer and irreparable injury, if this relief will not be granted or if the other party is harmed more than the other party being helped. However, this is not a permanent order from the court but this requires a quick response or action from the court as requested by the plaintiff to prevent injury or further offenses and this takes a matter of days to be released. The TRO was ordered when my uncle once filed for a restraining order against our neighbor for some disputes that they have and there was also a good response but because of the hearings, the seeking of a permanent injunction will take much time. Since harassment really harms the other person, I have learned that it will result to a permanent restraining order so it needs to be permanently stopped to protect the abused who seeks help from the court. There were also anti-stalking laws that were passed on different states to protect the women from the criminal acts of harassment by men because they are the ones most abused.   We know how important their duties are that is why there are really many things that I wanted to learned about the rules and the procedures of the court.
